Verein
Creators Classics Verein is a Vienna-based nonprofit founded by Andrei Maksimov, Elena Rozova, and Dmitry Andronov - a collective of artists who believe that art should move, challenge, and unite people. Our mission is to make opera and classical music relevant today by presenting them alongside contemporary creation, visual art, and new technologies.

We produce concerts, staged performances, festivals, exhibitions, and competitions that bring together artists from around the world. Our work ranges from intimate chamber concerts and site-specific opera productions to multimedia collaborations combining music, painting, photography, and digital art. Each project is built around artistic honesty and emotional depth, celebrating classical tradition while encouraging bold experimentation.

Education and talent development are central to our purpose. We support young singers, instrumentalists, composers, conductors, and visual artists through scholarships, residencies, and performance opportunities. We partner with schools, universities, and international festivals to create inclusive projects that reach children, youth, and communities with limited access to the arts. Through creative workshops and participatory formats, we foster curiosity, empathy, and a lasting love for music and art.

Creators Classics also develops interdisciplinary programs linking music with technology - interactive installations, live painting, digital storytelling, and immersive formats that expand how audiences experience performance. We see classical art not as something to preserve, but as a living force that evolves through dialogue with the present. Our activities are sustained through memberships, donations, sponsorships, and ticket sales. Every concert, exhibition, and outreach project reflects a shared vision: a vibrant, inclusive, and contemporary artistic culture where opera and art speak directly to today’s world.
Our Concerts
Many people ask us why we chose the name Creators Classics. The Classics part is clear - we perform opera, chamber music, and Lieder; we live in the world of classical music.

But what about Creators? Because we don’t simply perform - we create. Every high-level musical performance is a creative act. Especially in opera, where we inhabit characters, breathe their emotions, speak their truths - and in doing so, we bring centuries-old music into the present. We recreate each moment as if it were born today, shaping the story anew every time. It’s not reproduction. It’s rebirth.

We are creators in a more direct sense, too. Our team writes original arrangements for many of our concerts. We premiere new music by living composers. Therefore some of the music we perform was written for us, with our unique sound and vision in mind. But creation doesn’t stop with the notes on the page.
In a concert market full of repetition, we strive to create new formats. We rethink traditional concert structures to make each performance feel fresh, meaningful, and alive.

Our Liederabende are intimate and poetic, full of interaction and reflection. Our opera evenings often are theatrical experiences.

Most importantly, we don’t think only about the product. We think about you.

Before each concert, we ask our potential audience about their favorite arias and classical pieces. We study your tastes, we listen to your voices, and we shape our programs around you - so that every performance feels personal, unexpected, and unforgettable.

At Creators Classics, we don’t just perform music.
We co-create an experience - with each other, and with you.
We honor the past. We perform the present. We shape the future.
Our Vernissages
We are delighted to invite you to the vernissages hosted by our Verein - a special opportunity to experience new works of art in an intimate, inspiring atmosphere before the official exhibition opening. A “vernissage” is a chance to meet the artists, exchange ideas with fellow art lovers, and immerse yourself in the creative spirit of our community.
At these events, you will have the first look at fresh paintings, sculptures or other creations — carefully selected to reflect the diversity and excellence of contemporary art.

Our vernissages aim to support artists, connect collectors with emerging talent, and build a network around art appreciation. Whether you are an experienced collector, a curious admirer, or a supporter of the arts, we welcome you to join the evening: enjoy the ambiance, engage with the creators, and share in the excitement of witnessing new artworks unveiled for the first time. Each vernissage will be followed by a reception with light refreshments, offering a relaxed space for conversation and community building. We look forward to seeing you at our next event and celebrating art together!

Working like bridge between university level and professional music world, Creators Classics promotes artists to wider audiences: curating performances, connecting artists with concert opportunities, organizing exhibitions, helping them gain visibility through collaborations, festivals, and media. We believe that supporting artists isn’t just about exposure - it’s about enabling growth, facilitating creative risk, and building lasting connections with audiences who care.
Recording label Creators Classics has been founded by artists, for artists. We believe in artistic freedom, authenticity, and the power of music to challenge, inspire, and move audiences. Our mission is to give musicians complete creative control over their work - free from commercial pressures and industry constraints. Every recording we produce is a testament to artistic integrity, focusing on unique interpretations, bold programming, and the highest musical standards. When others hesitate, we act. Creators Classics exists to bring visionary projects to life, ensuring that great musical ideas are realized without compromise.

We've released two albums, each showcasing our commitment to excellence and innovation in classical music. More than performances, they are artistic statements - crafted with passion and precision. At Creators Classics, independence is our philosophy. We work directly with musicians, engineers, and designers to create recordings that stay true to the artist's vision.
POETS
album, Creators Classics

is a 70-minute oratorio that presents a haunting montage of poetry and letters by Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon, interwoven with Catholic prayers.

The work unfolds through the memories of an aging Siegfried Sassoon, reflecting on his intense friendship with Owen at Craiglockhart War Hospital in 1917—a relationship that, according to historical sources, may have had romantic undertones. Both poets were passionate opponents of war, rejecting any romanticization of it and exposing its brutal reality.

The message of the oratorio is universal: it denounces the senselessness of all wars, from 1917 to today. Why do we shorten our lives through suffering? Why do we fight, when love exists in every human being
