Ekaterina Spivakovskaia
Born in St. Petersburg in 1995, Ekaterina Spivakovskaia is a Russian soprano whose voice blends lyrical warmth with expressive depth. Trained in both vocal performance and choral conducting, she brings a uniquely informed musicality to every role she inhabits.
She holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Solo Singing from the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien, where she studied under KS Elena Filipova. Her earlier education includes choral conducting studies at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory and the Rimsky-Korsakov Music College — a foundation that continues to enrich her approach to vocal ensemble and oratorio repertoire.
On stage, she has portrayed roles such as Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Micaëla (Carmen), and Pamina (Die Zauberflöte – in part), with upcoming performances including Carmen at Vienna’s OFF-Theater and in Villefranche de Rouergue, France. Her concert credits include Verdi’s Messa da Requiem (Musikverein, Vienna), Mozart’s Exsultate, Jubilate, and numerous chamber and recital appearances throughout Europe.
Her talent has been recognized internationally, with awards and appearances in the finals and semi-finals of prestigious competitions such as Voci Verdiane, Bologna Vocal Competition, Mirjam Helin Competition and the Offenbach Grand Prix.
With a command of Russian, German, English, and Italian, and a voice capable of both delicacy and dramatic intensity, Ekaterina is equally at home in opera, sacred works, and art song — always seeking to tell stories that resonate across time and culture.
