Daria Iakubchik
Daria Iakubchik, a talented young vocalist, was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She began her musical journey at the E.A. Mravinsky School of Arts for Children and later continued her education at the Saint Petersburg School of Arts named after Pavel Alekseevich Serebryakov, specializing in vocal performance. Throughout her studies in Saint Petersburg, Daria actively participated in numerous children’s and youth competitions, frequently emerging as a winner. In August 2022, she made her festival debut at the Taranto Opera Festival in Italy, where she appeared in Puccini’s Tosca as Pastorello. Two years later, in August 2024, she performed at the Vienna Opera Festival, taking on the role of Despina in Mozart’s Così fan tutte. In 2025 she performed Frascita at the same festival.

In 2022, she was admitted to the AMADEUS Music and Arts Academy in Vienna, where she continues her musical education. She has also taken part in numerous master classes and training programs, earning several certificates, including: Associazione Musicale (Italy, 2022), Certificate Academy Carlo Bergonzi (Italy, 2022), Attestato di Merito Finalista “Premio Callas 100” (Italy, 2023), Certificate Vienna Opera Academy (Vienna, 2024), and Certificate Vienna Opera Academy (Vienna, 2025). Her repertoire already includes Frasquita in Bizet’s Carmen and soloist in Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater.

From September 2025 she studies in the University of Music and Performing Arts (mdw) in Vienna with prof. Martin Vacha.

Daria is also a prize-winner of many vocal competitions. Among her achievements are multiple victories in city competitions among music schools under the auspices of the Saint Petersburg Committee for Culture, the title of Laureate at the “Classics without Borders” competition (2021–2022), the International Competition “The Silver Tuning Fork” (2022), and the IX International JSFest Vocal Competition (2021–2022). She is the Grand Prix winner of the “Ciao Italia” competition (2022), a finalist of the “Premio Callas” competition (2023), and the Grand Prix winner of the “7 Giovani Talenti di Gorizia” competition (2024). In 2025, she received the Special Maurizio Ferrari Award of the Agora Lyric World International Competition in Verona, as well as the Grand Prix of the 10th International Nota Bene Competition.
