Christopher González Arellanes is a Mexican tenor and member of the Opera Studio of Mexico. He trained at the Vienna Opera Academy, where he performed leading Mozart roles including Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni and Ferrando in Così fan tutte, demonstrating stylistic elegance and lyrical refinement. He has also appeared in L’Enfant et les sortilèges, continuing to expand a versatile repertoire that ranges from classical comedy to French twentieth-century opera. In 2026, he was awarded third prize at the Concurso Operístico María Callas in São Paulo, marking him as one of the promising young Mexican tenors of his generation. He is currently covering the demanding role of Florestan in Fidelio, scheduled for 25 April at the Gran Sala del Teatro de la Ciudad Monterrey. With growing international experience and steadily rising recognition, he continues to establish himself on the operatic stage.
